I had the distinct pleasure of three weeks in Vietnam in early 2008. What a surprising country! Not just because it dashes and then overwhelms all your previous expectations, but because of the warmth of the people. Phenomenal, that so soon after that most brutal of wars they receive Americans and Australians with open arms. Here are some photos.
