Mazy was busking on one of the main streets in Asheville, North Carolina during a summer festival. I had to stop and listen and talk to her. I gathered that she was originally from the mountains of Maine where she grew up on a farm and that she had played with various orchestras including the Charlotte Symphony. Why not? Mazy is a real guerillatraveler and the real thing when it comes to fiddle playing.
